To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Gil & Cruz hosted a Welcome Reception for the Northern Illinois University College of Law Latino Law Student Association's and new Dean Jennifer Rosato.  Guests speakers included the Honorable Mark J. Lopez, the Honorable Manuel Barbosa and Dean Jennifer Rosato.  Dean Rosato is only one of two Latina law school deans in the nation. 

Gil & Cruz hosted a wine and cheese reception for National Speaker, Guillermo "Willie" Lopez.  Willie Lopez spoke on Choices: You Can Be A Part Of The Problem Or A Part Of The Solution.

Gil & Cruz recently hosted the Kane County Minority Bar reception at Jalapenos in South Elgin.

Gil & Cruz recently hosted a reception for Fred Morelli, who is running for Circuit Judge for the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit.  There were over 300 people in attendance at the offices of Gil & Cruz.
